About Transint

Transint is a proof-and-protection platform for South African long-haul and mining transport. It replaces the paper delivery note with a GPS-stamped, time-stamped, seal-verified record captured in the cab — and goes further, protecting the money that usually leaks out of every trip: unbilled waiting time, unproven collections and diesel that does not add up. It works even where there is no mobile signal.

The problem we solve

In road freight you get paid on proof — but the proof usually rides back to the office as a paper slip in a truck, arriving days later, faded, torn or lost. That is only the start. Your trucks also sit for hours at gates and weighbridges (demurrage you can't prove and never bill), they run collection and empty-leg trips that leave no record at all, and diesel — your single biggest cost — quietly disappears into a monthly total nobody can audit. On mine sites and rural routes there is often no signal, so ordinary cloud apps fail exactly where your trucks work. Transint was built for all of it.

Proof of Delivery (POD)

The driver photographs the delivered load and Transint automatically locks GPS location, the exact time and the seal serial onto the record, along with seal-intact / weight-verified / cargo-undamaged checkpoints. The office exports an invoice-ready PDF in one tap — so you invoice the same day and end "it arrived late / the seal was broken / that's not where we offloaded" disputes with a record on the page instead of your word against theirs.

Proof of Collection (POC) — empty-legs & pickups

You don't only deliver, you collect. The app knows from the trip whether the driver is loading or delivering — no modes to pick — and at the loading point the driver captures a Proof of Collection with the same GPS, time and seal records as a delivery, and its own PDF. Pickups and back-hauls that used to vanish without a trace now carry the same weight in a dispute as your deliveries.

Demurrage — get paid for waiting time

When the truck waits at a site, Transint confirms the visit and times it from the boundary: arrival is the time the truck entered the site boundary; departure is the time it left (the driver can also tap Arrive, and Depart & Capture closes the visit). Truck stops and fuel plazas never start the clock. Transint subtracts the free time set on the contract (2 hours by default) and shows the billable time, then exports a Demurrage Report PDF with a scan-to-verify QR code you can put in front of a client. If the phone was not reporting when the truck crossed the boundary, the time is marked approximate and is not billed until a manager confirms or corrects it — every correction is recorded with a reason.

Diesel & fuel checks

At each fill-up the driver photographs the odometer and types the reading, enters litres and cost, and photographs the slip — which is locked to the record and can't be changed afterwards. The dashboard turns that into a rolling kilometres per litre per truck and compares it with that truck's own normal. Fills that don't add up — a lower odometer reading, more kilometres than the time allows, two fills too close together, more litres than the tank holds, a repeated slip, or efficiency far from normal — are flagged for your review, so problems surface early instead of hiding in the month-end fuel bill. No GPS is used in any fuel check.

The live fleet dashboard

Every POD and POC lands in real time, searchable by waybill, truck, driver, manifest or date and filterable by delivery or collection. You add trucks (with a start odometer), invite and name drivers, assign each driver to their trucks, and push jobs down to the cab — one job can be assigned to several trucks at once. A completed job clears itself from the driver's screen and shows as done for the office, with the destination and seal on record.

Works offline, by design

Captures, arrivals, departures and fuel logs all save safely on the phone when there's no signal, then upload themselves the moment connectivity returns. A dead zone never blocks a driver or loses a record.

Plans

Every fleet gets every feature — POD & POC capture, the live dashboard, one-tap PDFs, fuel logs, demurrage time PDFs and downloadable fuel slips — on one price ladder. See the pricing page.

Who it's for

Transint is designed for transport companies moving goods over long distances or into and out of mining operations — the operators for whom a lost or disputed POD directly delays payment. It suits fleets of any size, from a handful of trucks to hundreds, with pricing that scales down per truck as the fleet grows.
